First Kitchen in Bihar

We are happy to announce the construction of our first Akshaya Patra kitchen in the state of Bihar. The foundation stone laying ceremony was conducted to establish a state-of-the-art centralised kitchen in Patna on June 16, 2025. The event was held in the presence of Sri Bharatarshaba Dasa, Trustee and National President of Akshaya Patra and attended by notable dignitaries and patrons. This kitchen facility will be able to serve 40,000 freshly cooked meals every day. We look forward to working with the CMO of Bihar to provide hot and nutritious mid-day meals under the Poshan Abhiyaan scheme, enabling a bright future for children.
