It was my great honour to be invited to the Sri Ramotsava celebrations by Sri Pejavara Adhokshaja Matha in Punyakshetra Peranankila, Udupi. I was happy to inaugurate “Dharmasabha: Vishwambhara Vedike” - a dharmic discussion panel held as part of the Ramotsava celebrations. This special event took place in the divine presence of HH Sri Vishwaprasanna Teertha Swamiji, Peetadhipati of Sri Pejavara Adhokshaja Matha. Swamiji is a long-time supporter and well-wisher of ISKCON Bangalore. I also participated in the Dharmasabha as the Chief Guest, alongside many distinguished personalities and esteemed honorees Mahamahopadhyay Vidwan Adhyapady Haridas Bhat, National Awardee, and Dr. Shrinivasa Varakhedi, Vice-Chancellor of Central Sanskrit University, New Delhi. In this programme, I had the opportunity to share that bhakti is not merely sentiment but is backed by vedanta. I also highlighted how Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu, through the Brahma Madhva Gaudiya tradition, applied the teachings of Sripada Madhvacharya and preached the sublime process of Harinama Sankirtana to everyone.
