Temple inauguration at Madhava's Eco Village

We are happy to share the joyous milestone of the temple inauguration at Madhava's Eco Village in Viramgam near Ahmedabad in Gujarat. This is a unique model organic farm initiative of ISKCON Hare Krishna Mandir, Ahmedabad. Madhava's Eco Village is one of the few biodynamic model farms in the country. Our team of devotees is developing this farm community under the leadership and guidance of Sri Jaganmohan Dasa, Temple President and Member of Governing Body Commission. On the auspicious day of Akshaya Tritiya, a beautiful temple was inaugurated, and the prana-pratishtha ceremony was performed for the Deities of Sri Sri Nimai Nitai Gaurasundara and Srila Prabhupada. The ceremony was conducted with traditional Vedic rituals and accompanied by enthusiastic Harinama Sankirtana. Srila Prabhupada envisioned the establishment of self-sufficient farm communities that depend on cow protection and Mother Earth to produce fresh, nourishing food while absorbing ourselves in Krishna consciousness. Through such initiatives, we aspire to live by the principle of "simple living and high thinking," share the teachings of Lord Krishna with surrounding communities, and demonstrate the importance of cow protection, natural living, and holistic well-being. This ceremony coincided with the auspicious occasion of the 11th anniversary of ISKCON Hare Krishna Mandir at Bhadaj. Various sevas were offered to Sri Sri Radha Madhava, the presiding Deities, during this grand Patotsav celebration. We invite you and your family to Madhava's Eco Village to connect with nature, learn about eco-friendly living, and experience spiritual peace.
